It's official: Allen is brilliant, just like his big sister. He knows a kangaroo goes "hop, hop, hop" (which he signs by tapping on the floor or his chest). He knows a puppy pants (which he does with his tongue hanging waaaaay out). He knows an airplane when he sees one, or hears one, or gets a feeling that one might be anywhere nearby. He understands so many words! He's learning so fast, it's hard to keep up!

He has three excellent role models!!!!
Oh, he also does the "dishwasher dance"... One morning, while the dishwasher was running, I made a "shoosh-swish" noise and rocked back and forth. Now, if you ask him what the dishwasher does, he'll rock his head back and forth... kind of like Stevie Wonder.
It's so fascinating how they learn. Steve was also telling me how he knows certain pictures in books, i.e. kangaroo hops. Can't wait to watch him do his stuff!!
