We were in the toy store the other day, and a certain young man fell in love with Bruder trucks. Bruder is a German toy truck company. Incredibly lifelike trucks. They even have a "Roadmax" line for toddlers. Boy, Allen went ga-ga over these babies. "Birthday!" I told him. "Christmas! Groundhog Day!"

I ordered a bunch of truck books and Lois Lenski books for his birthday. I wished I'd gotten some toys, but like you said, there's always Christmas!
