Got to get out before it gets too hot... Was supposed to be 100 on Saturday, but the Ballwin Days parade stepped off promptly at 9 a.m., so that wasn't too bad.
I tried to keep Allen in my shadow so he wouldn't get too hot... One of the floats came by handing out freezer pops, so that was ideal... Emilyn raked in a haul of candy, coupons and other free stuff.
It must be the only parade in the world with a Falun Gong group, a giant shopping cart, a walking toner cartridge and Shriners on cooler cars.
