Hooray for the boy! His self-portrait was chosen by his art teacher, Mrs. Pettey, for display at the South Area Art Show at the high school. Allen says about his work: "I'm at the beach, and the brown stuff is the sand, and the blue stuff is the water. The red stuff I put just because I wanted to fill it in." Personally, I love his pretty green eyes!
