Emilyn's school year usually wraps up with the Academic Rally... This year she won six or seven awards, plus the Presidential Award for academics. All the more special because she and her friends were saying goodbye to Sorrento.
We dashed over to Allen's school for his last-day festivities: the ice cream social! No better way to end fifth grade than to go back to preschool for an ice cream party! Allen (sort of) gave Ms. Kim and Ms. Marlene their end-of-year thank you presents. We love them both so much and look forward to another year with them, starting in August.
Our very-busy day wrapped up at Mr. Harry's Carnival Foods, where Emilyn and Allen shared a snow cone and caught the eye of the TV producer for Channel 11 who was filming a spot for a food feature. Guess who's going to be on TV next week!
