Day 3 was the really big day... An extra day in Cleveland to see... "A Christmas Story" House and Museum!

We got there before they opened for the day, so we bought tickets to the first tour (10:30) and browsed in the museum. There, we met the very guy who wheels in the "Fra-jee-lay" crate. He's an extra who was cast from the neighborhood, as were many in the movie. And now he whiles away his days sitting in the museum down the street from his house and impressing the hell out of movie fans! What a life!

Then we got to go in the house... The didn't use the interior of the house for the movie, just the exterior, but they did their best to make it look authentic, even though the layout is all wrong. It's pretty darn neat, and you can take some "goofy pictures," as our tour guide pointed out.
As we were pulling away from Ralphie's house, our spark plugs went bad... We had to stay in the neighborhood a little while longer while we got some new ones!
Then, it was off to Niagara Falls... AMAZING! If you've never been, you should go!

We rode the Maid of the Mist, which was unbelievably cool.
