Not something you see every day on Asilomar Court (and, frankly, not something you can see very clearly in this picture), but there were three deer beyond our back fence yesterday morning. Here's one, blurry, dun-colored beast (right in the center, behind the fence... Blow it up on DropShots to see it better):
It has been very cold this fall and winter, and maybe they're just so hungry that our backyard brush looks good to them!
