Some of my colleagues made the choice to take retirement and severance, in order to allow some of the fired people to return to work. We lose either way!
Geof and Kathryn (center, front) are leaving after more than 30 years each at the Post-Dispatch. Great journalists and great people. We will miss them dearly. Not pictured is Gary, who also chose to retire.
From left, we are: June, Colleen, Luke, Lacey, Jim and Jennie. We get to stay behind and trudge bravely along. I'm wondering if we should start calling ourselves "the Remainders," or possibly the cooler-sounding "Residudes."
